An Indigenous association operating a community store , takeaway shop and garage offshore from Darwin requires a highly experienced Bookkeeper or semi qualified Accountant with Payroll experience. You will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Accounts payable/ receivable;
• Banking and reconciliations;
• Weekly payroll for 60 and related functions;
• Preparation of BAS, GST, PAYG and statutory returns

Individuals who have a cultural awareness of working in a remote community is essential.

You will be a switched on individual who enjoys working autonomously, have previous bookkeeping/ accounting experience having worked with MYOB and Microsoft Office. Attention to detail is a must, coupled with a flexible attitude and easy going nature.

Package includes salary, super, vehicle, housing with utilities subsidised plus more. The role can start out as a contractor role to "try before you buy" if preferred.
