Our client is a major international Coal Mining Company with a number of global and Australian projects. They are currently looking for a Business Analyst to work on site at their prestigious Mine in the Bowen Basin.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for:

Management of the financial, commercial and administrative functions

Internal and external Audit

Preparation of Site Budgets, forecasts and corporate compliance

Analysis and negotiation of Commercial Contracts and Tenders

Cost control and business performance analysis

Capital expenditure and operational expenditure analysis and justification

Life of Mine Planning

Ad hoc duties and leadership

Contribution to Health and Safety and Community goals

This is an excellent opportunity for an established Management Accountant or Business Analyst with on-site experience in the Mining Industry to move to a larger site and take on more responsibility.
