An opportunity exists for an experienced compliance officer to join this extremely talented and engaging team.
As the Corporate Compliance Officer reporting directly to the Corporate Compliance & Governance Manager your responsibilities will be:
- Develop and maintain compliance check lists and appropriate reporting procedures
- Develop working knowledge of relevant issues, law and regulations through periodicals, seminars, training programs and peer contact
- Delivery of presentations, education and workshops in the area of compliance and risk management
- Develop and maintain the compliance and risk management software
- Assist with implementing corporate wide training for compliance and risk programs
- Assist with inquires, investigations in relation to compliance and risk obligations
- Reporting on Compliance and Risk matters
- Provide assistance to department managers in understanding their responsibility for the compliance program in their business units
To be successful in the role you must have previous experience in compliance, tertiary qualified and will possess first class communications skills. Experience within the financial services industry will be highly regarded however not essential.
