At the 'infancy' of your impeccable Auditing career,
- You would have commenced with a Big 4 or 2nd Tier in Audit and Assurance
- You then matured as a practioner and worked your way up the firm
- In parallel you obtained professional status (CA)
- Continued on a stable path with similar firms
- Gained - Registered Company Auditor status
- Currently you are a high end Senior Manager
- You are now ready to 'nest' in the right high end Practice and where you can be equally demanding
Option 1: Pedigree Firm that has a superior Auditing arm. Coupled with global resource inputs and networks, the reputation and quality of work here makes the procurement of high end appointments clearly achievable. The good balance of Business Procurement and Staff Development makes it both profitable and economically sound in long term.
Option 2: Reputable CA boutique firm - Partners are looking at retiring in the very near future and looking for a key member for the Audit division to simply hand everything over. No requirement to buy in - chance to be handed the business.
Option 3: 5 partner firm - Looking to develop the Audit arm of the practice. If you are a registered company auditor and keen to take on the challenge this is the ideal opportunity. (If you have fees to bring across - this is an advantage - otherwise you will be required to simply work on expanding the current fee base)
