• 3-5 Month initial contract, with view to long term extension

Based conveniently in the heart of the CBD our client is a people focused employer known for their fair and fun work place. We are now seeking an experienced Finance Officer to join their team.

Your role will involve:

• Day to day operational accounting functions in the Financial Reporting Team
• Complex GL Reconciliations
• BAS preparation
• Journal Entries
• Variance reporting & Variance resolution
• Investigations
• Liaising across interdepartmental teams
• Statutory reporting

As the successful applicant you will posses:

• 2- 3 years experience in a similar role
• Have hand on experience in GL Reconciliations within a large organisation
• SAP experience
• Experience working across a number of ledgers
• Excellent communication skills
• A history of not only locating variances, but resolving them
• Candidates with both Government and Commercial experience will be well received
