Our client is a multiple award winning global business analytics software company, achieving the much admired position of Finalist in the '2009 Best Companies to Work For'. They are seeking a self motivated, results focussed Assistant Accountant to closely support the Senior Financial Accountant, the Finance team and the Australia/NZ businesses.

In this multi faceted role you will be hands on and involved in numerous accounting functions, including general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations, assisting with month end reporting, financial reporting and preparation of BAS. In addition to this, you will also support the financial controller with payroll reconciliations, fixed assets and management of credit cards.

To join this exceptional organisation you required 3+ years experience as an Assistant Accountant, plus a strong understanding of GST & FBT for both Australia and New Zealand. Meticulous detail, confident communication skills and sound MS Office skills go without saying; experience using AccPac helpful.

You will be allowed great autonomy and responsibility in this role and if you wish to gain exposure on all levels of finance, you will certainly have the opportunity over time if you show enthusiasm.
